'Ben'
Marsagan Labradors in partnership with Red Cypher Gundogs is very pleased to announce that they have aquired frozen semen from Millersbyre Sword at Coyletaiglum(Ben). Ben is a fox red labrador from excellent working lines.
Bobby Wilson of Coyle Gundogs in Scotland started Ben's formal training at 18 months of age and has trained him to a very high standard. He stops very sharply to the whistle, takes a blind with ease, is an excellent marker who is steady to game, a good hunter and great picking up dog.
Ben is a very athletic looking dog with a very biddable personality. He is a very honest dog who gives 100% when out in the field but has an off swich when in the kennel. He is a proven sire, throwing beautiful pups with a lovely dark fox red colour.
Due to work commitments he has only been lightly trialled but when he has competed he has come in as the winner in a novice test and twice as the winning dog in open tests. Ben is now 3 years old and is ready to go forward and compete seriously in trials.
Ben's health clearances are excellent having been DNA profiled clear for PRA, EIC, CNM, SD2, HNPK. His hip score is 4/4, elbows 0 and has a current clear eye certificate dated May 2017.
